How do you take advantage of AITDomains.com INCREDIBLE PRICES when your domain is with another registrar? AITDomains.com has simplified the transferring of a registration from another registrar by providing detailed step-by-step instructions to guide you through the process.

The registration transfer request fee is $7.99 per domain plus all applicable taxes & fees. If the domain is successfully transferred, an additional year will be added to the registration.  

Transferring your registrations to AITDomains.com is easy as long as the registration is current and the contact information is up to date. Log into your account and submit a request. We have simplified the transfer process by providing detailed step-by-step instructions to guide you.

The “registration transfer” process:

1. Log into your account at https://dmt.aitdomains.com/domainregistration/login.jsp
2. Click on "Transfer Domain"
3. Remove "Enter Domain" and enter the domain name you wish to transfer
4. Enter the credit card information and submit.
1. Ensure billing information is correct (name and address).
2. Press submit only once and allow transaction to either go through or time out.
5. Verify the information is correct and submit the registration request.
1. Please print out for your records.
2. You must click on the “I have verified box” before you press submit only once.
6. You will be forwarded to a “Thank You” page and a registration confirmation email will be sent to the organization contact.
7. In 24 hours, confirmation code will be sent to the current Administrative Contact of the domain name. This code is needed to confirm/authorize the transfer request.
8. Once you receive the code, repeat #s 1 and 2
9. Choose “Confirm Domain Transfer”
10. From the drop down box, select the domain name that you have requested.
11. Enter your confirmation code that has been sent to you
1. For .us, .biz, .info, and .org domains, you will alsoneed to enter the “auth info" (this can only be obtained from the current registrar).
12. Once the request is confirmed/authorized, the registry informs both the losing and gaining registrar via email the registration has been flagged for transfer. The losing registrar then has 5 days to accept or reject the transfer. If the losing registrar does not reply within the 5 days, the transfer is automatically approved.
1. Note that registration that expire within those 5 days, may be declined after it has expired.
13. When the transfer is complete, you will receive an email confirming the completion of the transfer. Either:
1. The transfer is successful and an additional year is added to the current registration.
2. The transfer request is declined and removed from our database.
